BALLET CLASSES

Classical ballet forms the foundation of all dance styles. The dancer wears soft technique shoes until their bones are strong enough and they have trained for long enough to wear pointe shoes; where they dance on the tops of their toes – sur le pointe.

Classes are taught in the internationally accredited & world-renowned Imperial Classical Ballet syllabus. This syllabus is devised by experts in the field of classical ballet and taught worldwide. They are regularly reviewed, thus ensuring that they continue to provide the strong foundation for today's ever advancing technical standards. Students are encouraged to acquire a sound basic technique combined with co-ordination, musicality, elegance, grace & confidence. The classes are structured and conducted with discipline, creativity and fun.

Classes:

Pre-School - 2 3/4 - 4 1/2 years
Primary Ballet - 4 1/2 - 6 years
Grade 1 Ballet - 7 - 8 years
Grade 2 Ballet - 9 - 10 years
Grade 3 Ballet - 10 - 12 years
Grade 4 Ballet - 12 years upwards
Pre-Intermediate Foundation Ballet - Must have taken exams to attend this standard
